AI Audit

Find out where the time goes before you spend a dollar on AI.

We spend a day with the people who do the work, watch each process run, and count what it costs you. You get a written plan: what is worth fixing, what each fix would cost, what it would save, and what is not worth doing at all.

$750 for one process  ·  $4,500 for the whole business  ·  credited toward any build

From our most recent audit

Two companies, one owner, two days on site.

~35/ day

Orders put on hold before print, about one in seven. At fifteen minutes each that is one person’s entire working day, every day, spent on holds.

$1.9M

A year of product sales running on one spreadsheet and one person, with every sale typed in five separate times.

3

Builds recommended, in order. Each came with a fixed price, a timeline and a test the owner could hold us to, and any one could start alone.

A direct-mail and marketing group. Names removed. The hold count came from their customer-service lead; the fifteen minutes was our assumption, labelled as one, and the plan measured it in week one before anyone relied on it.

What you get

A report you can act on, with us or without us.

Most AI audits end with a slide deck. Ours ends with the problem in your people’s words, the cost in your numbers, and a price for fixing it. Every figure says where it came from.

  1. The decisions, in orderThe few things most worth doing, on one page.
  2. The problem, in your people’s wordsQuoted from the people who do the work.
  3. What it costs todayHours and dollars a year, each marked observed, reported or assumed.
  4. What we would buildFixed price, timeline and an acceptance test for each.
  5. What we are not recommendingIncluding the things that are not worth building.

How it works

Four steps, and the decision at the end is yours.

  1. A 20-minute call

We agree which process or how much of the business to look at. If an audit won’t help you, we’ll tell you on the call.

  2. The day with your team

We sit with the people who do the work and time each step. We only need read access to your systems and we don’t change anything.

  3. Report and readout

We walk you through the written report and every number in it, including the ones that argue against building.

  4. You decide

Build it with us and the fee is credited. Hand the report to someone else, or change nothing. All three are fine.

Read it knowing we build

“We build these for a living. Read every recommendation in this document knowing that Norse AI benefits if you act on it.”First page of every Norse AI audit report
  • We don’t pitch during the audit. The day is for watching the work. Prices come in the report, where you can read them in your own time.
  • We tell you when the answer isn’t AI.Sometimes the fix is a change in how you work or a tool you can buy for less than our fee. The report says so.
  • We don’t guess at what we haven’t seen.Where a number is our assumption, it’s labelled as one. If we can’t price something yet, we say what we’d need to see first.
  • The people who audit are the people who build.Gabriel and Drew run every audit themselves. No sales team, no handoff.

Questions

Before you book

Do we have to buy a build afterward?

No. The report is yours to act on however you like. The credit is there so that, if you do build with us, the audit costs you nothing.

In person or remote?

Either. We prefer in person because we learn more by watching the work than by hearing it described. Within 150 miles of Marshall, Missouri, travel is included. Beyond that we bill travel at cost and agree the amount with you first.

What do you need from our team?

A few hours with the people who run each process and read access to the systems they use. We send a short list of what to have ready a week before we arrive.

Is our data safe?

We only look at your systems with read-only access and don’t change anything during the audit. What we see stays between us, and nothing identifiable about your business appears in our marketing without your written permission.

What if the biggest problem is our bookkeeping?

Then we’ll say so, and we’ll tell you we built Bookhand for exactly that, alongside whatever else would work for you. You get the same honest comparison either way.

Which audit should we start with?

If you already know which process hurts, start with the $750 audit. If you want to know where to begin, or you have several teams, the full audit is the better fit. We’ll help you choose on the call.

Twenty minutes to find out if it’s worth a day.

Tell us what’s taking your team’s time. If an audit is the right next step, we’ll set a date. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you what we’d do instead.
